Performance management is an ongoing process of communication between a supervisor and an employee that occurs throughout the year, in support of accomplishing the strategic objectives of the organization. Compensation management is the practice of planning and distributing the overall pay and benefits package to a company's employees. 

Performance Management helps you track your employees' performance and tells you whether or not they need extra support, can handle higher-level training, or deserve a raise.
